BeIN Sports returns to Australian venues through Foxtel Business distribution deal
BeIN Sports is back in Australia’s pubs and clubs after Foxtel Business secured exclusive rights to distribute the network’s three linear channels across licensed venues nationwide. The deal expands Foxtel’s commercial sports offering while giving BeIN a new route to scale premium European football and tennis without adding friction for venue operators.

BeIN Sports has re-entered Australia’s commercial venue market through an exclusive distribution agreement with Foxtel Business, a move that strengthens Foxtel’s position in the out-of-home sports viewing market while restoring a premium international sports offering to licensed venues.
Under the partnership, Foxtel Business will serve as the exclusive distributor of BeIN’s three linear channels across pubs, clubs, and other licensed venues in Australia. The arrangement adds another high-value content layer to Foxtel’s commercial portfolio and gives BeIN access to Foxtel Business’s national footprint of more than 4,000 venues.
The return is significant for venue operators, who gain access to a slate of premium properties including Spain’s LaLiga, Italy’s Serie A, Germany’s Bundesliga, England’s EFL and Carabao Cup, plus ATP and WTA tennis, the Davis Cup, and Billie Jean Cup. The live content will be available in commercial venues for the first time in six months, marking a notable reset in the market after BeIN’s previous distribution arrangement with Screach ended.
For Foxtel, the deal further broadens an already deep sports offering that includes Fox Sports and ESPN channels, alongside coverage of AFL, NRL, Formula 1, Supercars, cricket, golf, Netball, NBL, NBA, MLB, and the NFL. In business terms, the partnership enhances Foxtel’s value proposition to venue owners by consolidating more premium rights into a single commercial platform.
The company has positioned the agreement as a low-friction upgrade for venues, with BeIN Sports available to add without the need for costly extra hardware or a disruptive installation process. That operational simplicity could prove just as important as the content itself in a market where venue operators are constantly balancing fan demand, setup costs, and reliability.
For BeIN, the deal is a distribution reset with strategic upside. Re-establishing a presence in Australia’s licensed venues extends the broadcaster’s reach beyond the home audience and places its European football and tennis inventory in front of a communal, high-engagement audience that can drive stronger brand visibility and commercial value.
